Phillip Lehman & Gabe Roth started the funk label Desco Records in the late 90's......After the label folded, Roth started "Daptone Records" and the rest is history......Lehmen created "Soul Fire" which hasn't received the same accolades as Daptone, but truth be told, "Soul Fire" keeps it extra filthy and deserve more praise for their releases......

there is some goddamn talent on that label.
Yeah brother, this shit is pure fire......I'm not sure if the label is still up and running, but they definitely put out some heat....
