It's a crying shame that Fishbone haven't received the accolades that they deserve....
After 25 years in the music BUSINESS, countless tours, and major label support in the beginning of their career, the band still remains under the radar somewhat.....So many groups copied their whole steez and reaped huge benefits without paying proper homage...
What does this have to do with Hip Hop you might ask yourself ?
1..Fishbone have maintained their initial anti mainstream stance....
2..Instead of falling victim to current trends, the band still unleashes their form of original music..
3..They truly do not give a fuck (sounds like Hip Hop to me)....
Just peeped their documentary "Everyday Sunshine" and it instantly put me in a heavy trance.......I highly suggest that you track down a copy if you know what's best for you...
