Remember when MC's did tribute songs to their DJ ? DJ's are a critical piece in the Hip Hop puzzle and when you take them out of the equation - you lose.....PERIOD....
That's why after many years of DJ'ing I still practice on my scratches...Not only to add to my productions, but to stay sharp with my patterns and keep up with the various new styles of cutting that have popped off over the years.....Your never going to catch me sounding like Eric B on the cuts..
