Before I post something up I take the time to fully scan things to make sure I don't hear any of that bullshit....Back in the day you could rely on certain labels and artist to come through with that official dope without even hearing it first...
Things have changed somewhat in today's musical climate.......Some of my childhood Hip Hop heroes continue to drop the ball in the new millennium by releasing sub-par projects... SAD......So when you come to HIP HOP BATTLEFIELD keep in mind that there is a filtering process that is involved instead of RANDOM, BLIND,THIRSTY posting regardless of who's name is affiliated with the music...
Most of these blogs out here are on some hyper- music recycling bullshit......How many times are you going to post up the same shit as the next man ?.......It's plainly obvious that the payola steez is in full effect and certain blogs are receiving some secret paper to promote the next up-and coming BOZO !!!!!!

I just listened to Toadstyle and it was o.k. I'm a dj so of course I'm critical. However I can give props where they are due. In this case, the dj showed potential but there were a lot of timing issues. Also on his "back scratch" technique he cut off too much information which made the scratch incomplete. Head to head I would tear this dude up but alas I sold my 1200's years ago so I give him props just for doin' his thang!
