There is no rush that matches the feeling that I get when I find a crazy drum break that hasn't been rocked before....It could take weeks, or even months, but when I eventually find one- I instantly flashback to my childhood......Back then I was using the pause-tape method (More on that one day perhaps)....
Anyway, if your into crazy crate digging stories like Mr. HIP HOP BATTLEFIELD, than you will enjoy this BBC special by The Vinyl Hoover called "Beat Mining".......He interviews 45 King, Steinski, Malcolm Mclaren ( January 22, 1946-April 8, 2010...RIP), Aaron Fuchs of Tuff City records, etc.....
