When I first heard Akbar's Groove on Jamalski's "Roughneck Reality" album I damn near lost my marbles...Two minutes of pure B-Boy adrenalin...
Akbar went on to release a couple singles and a poorly marketed album on Ill Boogie Records...Solid material, but I don't think it captured his full potential..Don't get it twisted though cousin - Akbar is still clutching mic's and doing his thing in the new millennium...
On this cut from 2011 (Good Food) he keeps the wordplay crisp...
And while your at it you might as well peep the "Akbar's Groove" video to help you get your mind right!!
