" For Those That Like To Groove, Part 22 "



It's crazy to think that Sam Sever's group "Downtown Science" were briefly signed to Def Jam (Damn, things have changed over there for the worse)....

Anyway, Sam has carved out a nice place for himself in the Hip Hop history books : Not only was he the DJ for the Beastie Boys in the classic "Tougher Than Leather" movie, he also produced for Ms. Melody, 3rd Bass, Run-DMC, etc.......

He recently popped up EVR for a session packed with classic joints, breaks, and all that other good shit.....

* Don't be alarmed by the awkward first couple minutes, things start cooking in no time.....

yeah man, Downtown Science were ill. Boscoe Money knows how to tear a mic to shreads. The track "Somethin' Spankin New" is straight bananas!

Yeah they had some breaks on that joint as well.....Heavily slept-on....
