" Lord Superb Speaks "

Fresh off of a six and a half year bid, one-time " Wu " affiliate " Lord Superb " breaks his silence....Who could forget his crazy lines on the Supreme Clientele album...

"You know how we dine, we don't eat swine/ and we don't drink wine.....If you don't bring me some cognac I'll kill you/ I cant feel you".......

That has to be one of the funniest lines I have ever heard in my motherfuckin life....Anyway, " L.S. " has a bone to pick with Ghostface Killah...He claims he wrote " GFK's " rhymes for an extended period...

When I first heard about this a couple years ago I paid it no mind, but if you really listen to " L.S.'s " rhymes on Supreme Clientele he does sound exactly like Ghost......HMMMMMMMM.

Regardless " L.S. " is crazy angry and spits pure venom on this 13 minute interview with Doggie Diamonds....You don't want to miss this one dukes....

I recently spotted this remix project over at the Crates Of A.G. blog....Producer " Noyland ", hails from Germany and I had absolutely no clue who he was before I decided to take a listen...

Not bad, not bad at all...Matter of fact, the Wu-Tang remix had me pushing the motherfuckin rewind button...Check in for yourself cousin...

" Top Ten Wack Hip Hop Names: Part Two "

" Rappers like to set up, a lotta gangs / a lotta suckers with colorful names....I'm so and so, I'm this I'm that / but they all just wick, wick, WACK "....

K.R.S. One- " My Philosophy "

It's not hard to find straight-up WACK Hip Hop names, they are everywhere these days....Whatever happened to fresh names like the "Madman Clan", "Boostin Kev", "Ghetto Style D.J.'s", "Constant Deviants", and one of my personal favorites, "Old Dirty Bastard" ?.......

It's so easy to find SUSPECT names that I decided to go off the dome and hit ya'll off with part two of the " TTWHHN " series....If your name is included on the list, don't take it personal and try to come at me with some weird frequencies....

JOKES ON YOU JACK !!!!!!!!!

1. " Stomach " from Ice Water Inc....

Are you for real famz ? How and the fuck could a dude name himself " Stomach " for christ sakes ?......What's next, M.C. Large Intestine ?......

2. " Big Lady K "....

HAHAHAHAHA...

3. " Frenchie "...

Some brothers out there have lost their motherfuckin minds...C'mon, this cat has never been to France in his entire life, and even if he did, the name " Frenchie " still sounds borderline tinkerbell to me....

4.." Mussolini "...

This one is way too easy....DO THE KNOWLEDGE.....

5..." Wacka Flocka Flames "...

God damn...Can it get any wacker than this ?

6..." Heavy D "...

Sure he had a couple joints back in the day and all that.....Sure he recently resurfaced on some happy , lovers rock type steez, and another thing is for sure- his name is straight WACK !!!!!!!.....

R.I.P. " Trouble T-Roy "...

7...." Wale "

Even if this is his real motherfuckin name, he should switch it up on some Hip Hop shit....

8..." Brother Lynch Hung "..

This might surprise many of you, but I think "BLH's" first couple of albums were alright....Nothing groundbreaking, but definitely dangerous.....His name is crazy WACK though.....

9..." Chingo Bling "

GTFOH.....

10..." Zoo Life "..

40 Glock's crew is known for shaking dudes down and putting them under pressure....That's all fine and dandy....I just don't think we should be portraying ourselves as wild animals....We already get locked up in cages at an alarming rate in the United States ( YA HEARD ME ).......

Well that's the end of the comedy folks....I could go on forever but I think this is a good place to stop....Also, please keep in mind: It's not really all about a name, it's about skills of course....

AUDI 5000.

" Blog Shots 37 "

When it comes to Ice Cube I have mixed feelings...On one hand, I give him ultimate respect for bringing some of the most aggressive, thought-provoking, abrasive music to the table...

On the other hand, I'm appalled at the questionable moves he has made that totally contradict most of his earlier works....Don't get it twisted: we all evolve and reach different levels of maturity as we get older, but god damn, Oschea Jackson went from yelling " Burn Hollywood Burn ", to starring in family friendly movies such as " Are We There Yet ".....

I know your probably thinking " Who and the fuck does Drasar Monumental think he is, how dare he say such things "....

First of all, I have been following Cube's entire career: from his first group " C.I.A. ", all the way to that horrendous movie he just put out "Janky Promoters".....

Secondly, I can recite the entire " America's Most Wanted " album word for word...( POW-POW )...

And last but not least, I still have faith in the Cubester......That's right JACK !!!!!!!!!

Even though Kam dissed him, even though I haven't enjoyed one of his albums in over ten years, even though I despise most of his movies (Except Boyz In The Hood), I still believe he can deliver the goods if he rocks over better production....

With that being said, make sure you check out Cube's blog when you get a chance....Updates, opinions, jokes, and all types of other shit poppin off over there...Also be on the lookout for the release of his new album, " I Am The West " ( I have my fingers crossed )

PEEP

" Time To Ill Out "

I always wondered why Prince Paul never got into television; it's obvious that the man is a comedic force to be reckoned with...Wouldn't you rather see him on some late night shenanigans, than Jay Leno or any of those other halfway-funny dudes ?....

Anyway, If you want to hear some real funny shit: check out episode 2 of his Illout Show series with special guest " R.A. The Rugged Man "..

Well the man known as " Solar " finally breaks his silence....

" In The Lab With Havoc "

I often wondered why " Havoc " handed the bulk of the production duties for Mobb Deep; to outside producers after the release of "Murda Musik"....It seemed like the Mobb sound took a turn for the worse after they made that critical move...

Regardless I am a die-hard Mobb Deep fan to this day....

Unfortunately " Havoc " doesn't get the shines he deserves for his catalogue that is fully stacked with menacing, dramatic, ice-grill type of beats..

WHAT...

Shook Ones, Eye For an Eye, Survival Of The Fittest, Apostle's Warning, not to mention the grimey shit he produced for "Big Noyd", "Nas", "Tragedy", etc....

On this short clip, " Hav " lets you peep his MPC work......

Sounds like he is on to something..

" New Kid Capri Flames "

The first time I heard this scorcher of a single was on Tony Toca's radio show a couple weeks back....God damn, Capri goes for broke on this self-produced, sure shot ( Turn It Out )..

It's a motherfuckin SHAME this record doesn't get more burn out there...

Tell a friend that the kid still has rhymes up his sleeves JACK !!!!!!

" Every Month Is Black History Month "

The shortest month of the year has come and gone like a cloud of reefer smoke....Instead of isolating one month out of the year to do the knowledge, every month we should be analyzing the great contributions Africans have made throughout history..

Not just the Africans though: every culture has brought forth men and women that deserve to be respected and honored ( YA FEEL ME )...

Paul Mooney deserves your respect....For nearly four decades " Paul " has worked behind the scenes for some of the funniest comics around....Red Foxx, Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Dave Chapelle, etc.....Crazy thing is, Paul is still a underrated talent that doesn't receive the accolades that he truly deserves....

Here are a couple Paul Mooney facts that you might not know....

1...He helped jump start the careers of Jay Leno, David Letterman, Sandra Bernhard, and Robin Williams .......

2...Created the famous " In Living Color " character ,Homey The Clown....You know damn well you thought that shit was funny.

3...Never used drugs....

4...Lost his youngest son ( Simeon ) to gun violence...

5...Played Sam Cooke in the Buddy Holly movie....

6...Personally knew Huey P. Newton....

7...His first album, Race, was nominated for a Grammy...

If you want to find out more about this legendary funny man, I highly suggest you pick up his book " Black Is The New White " over HERE

It's a quick read that will keep you laughing louder than a motherfucker....TRUST ME..

Below is a clip of Paul dissing that god awful movie " Precious ", etc.....

" Monday Morning Mayhem, Part 2 "

" Lord Alibaski Vs. Markey Fresh "

Robbie from " Unkut " recently conducted a interview with Flavor Unit affiliate Markey Fresh that set off a chain of interesting events..."Lord Alibaski" responded with a barrage of personal attacks against Markey regarding comments he made about the late "Apache" ( Alabaski's cousin by the way )....

Wow...This is some wild shit.....Check in for yourself...

Props to Unkut for holding down the fort...

Robbie, just because you get to the Easter Egg hunt first, does’nt mean you gonna find the most eggs. Also, mad artist frequent The 45 Kings basement for what ever reason they were there for!!! Just because you was down there don’t make you “Flavor Unit”!!! You are not gonna hear a lot of people who was down there, “first”, mentioned in the same sentence with the “Original Flavor Unit”!! Latee created the “Flavor Unit” derrived from his single, “This Cutz Got Flava”!! And he brought along a Gang of raw ass M.C.’s for which “The Muthafuckin Human Body Chart Ali Ba-Ski was one of them!!! Marky took 45 King tracks to Red to make Marky look good!!! Wack is what Wack do!! As far as the comment about Apache and smoking too many cigarettes, you got fuckin jokes!! Apache gave his life to Christ immediately after he disappeared from the limelight! If you don’t know Apache, keep Apache name out your Muthafuckin mouth!! He did what he had to do after his dilemma, got his weight down, stopped smoking for like years, and moved to PA peacefully!! This was a wack interview Robbie, but you gotta put out the wack with the good!!

Comment by Ali Ba-Ski 02.24.10 @

Ali ba ski, it sounds like you got alot of hate in your heart. Anger cause stress which leads to high blood preasure and heart attacks. Life is 2short. P.s i was never apart of flavor unit and never wil be. And your right, markey is gonna make markey look good. Aint nobody else gonna do it. Have a nice day ali ba ski

Comment by mercedes1010 02.24.10 @

Let me correct you. Hate, heart attacks, high blood pressure, the sun, the stars, the moon, and quazars had nothing to do with what’s really real! You based the last time you saw Apache as the reason he passed. If hate applies to me, then hell yeah based on your comment. All you had to do was do the math on him, so you would have known! But I guess it sounds like you got a lot of hate in your heart, since Apache got his shine and you did’nt! Which leads to high blood pressure, heart attacks, and a history of wack rhymes!!! Ali Ba-Ski was never one to feel like rap was gonna feed me. I’ve been doin’ my thing for 22 yrs and them same Cats who thought rap was gonna feed them, got jobs now, lmao!! You gotta be shittin me! Robbie, thanks, but no thanks! Aint shit to talk about!!!

Comment by Ali Ba-Ski 02.24.10 @

Alibaski, your real funny the sun moon and stars and talkin about i got jokes? Listen, you do what you do and im gonna do what i do . To be honest everybody ali ba ski dont know me and i dont know him, we never really kicked like that. So for him throw all these darts at me is crazy. Once again thanks for all the comments. MARKEY FRESH*

Yeah man. Yo, he smoked too many cigarettes, man. That’s what it was. His weight just went so high. All that hard, fast living just caught-up with him. He said that, not me! Apache was my first cousin. My Mother’s Sister Son! Apache is no longer with us, but I’m here and I listen and read! Sun never did the MATH!! CrateDigga 78, it would be a no contest!!! MF, you right! Not even a whole paragragh of conversation back in the days. You said what you said!!

Comment by Ali Ba-Ski 02.25.10 @

I dont want to talk about APACHE because he is not here to defend his self but even tho he did quit smoking and drinking the damage to his heart was already done, it was the long term effect that caused the health problems. i never said nothing bad about him. i knew Apache very well, we made hundreds of demo tapes in the basement, got high together, and played basketball together. C.DIGGA78, before i battle Alibaski, ASK HIM HOW MUCH MONEY HE GOT! I WILL BE MORE THEN HAPPY TO TAKE THAT SHIT!! LMAO!!!

Comment by mercedes1010 02.25.10 @

Marcus Fresh, I’ve been on the job for 22 years and I don’t mean rap scrub!! You was always wack! Come and get it baby! Everytime you was down in the basement and we came through, I always wondered why you left! I never heard you on a track, tape, cassette, or anything with Apache that he let us hear. And I heard everything Marcus Fresh. Lakim, Doub J, Latee, and Chill Rob G Sun! No One ever passed you a mic! When we came stompin through, you had something to do, lmao! You were the epidemy of the word “Wack” and had the nerve to bite the hands (45 King) that fed yo “Wack” ass, lol. I will smash you in a rhyme fight or any other form of engagement! The people who liked you then, probably like Drake now! I’ll get back at you, gotta get back to work. You know, shot callin’! Hey Doub, what up real Emcee?

Comment by Ali Ba-Ski 02.25.10 @

Ali baski, nigga please!! You were never in the basement when i was there!! Lying ass fraud! I dont even know what your monkey ass looks like! And i never bit the hand that fed me, w.t.f is your drunk dumb ass talkin about?! Your a hatin ass bitter motherfucka! Fall back old clown and get off my dick!! Your trash!! Alibaski, garbage!! Stupid ass!!

Comment by mercedes1010 02.25.10 @

I typed in “The Mack of Rap” on YouTube!
But when I clicked on the link, it was’nt YouDude,
Mike Morrison came up, “Return of The Mack,
now you show up, “Return of The Wack”,
I see I got under your skin, so much profanity, I’ll have your bitch ass running around, lookin like Vanity,
First to come in the basement, first one to leave,
Somebody pass the mic to Marky, oh he left,
Nigga please!
All you’re known for is disappearing acts with your wack as rhymes,
It’s hard to battle Sissy’s who disappeared all the time,
Pussy!!! Bring It!

Comment by Ali Ba-Ski 02.25.10 @

I know what this is all about now. Alibaski is lookin for some attention. LOL! did you forget to take your bi polor medication? like i said before get off my dick goofy clown. your such a slob alibaski.

Comment by mercedes1010 02.26.10 @

Do you hear Marky Fresh records playing on the radio every day! Hell no!! He does not have a job, talking about betting stacks! Where is your income coming from? You a fraud ass fag! You don’t have any cheddar Son! Watch the way I spell Son, pussy. You are not worth a battle Marcus Fresh. Your rhymes are straight Puss! Mark tracks carried 99% of the cuts you did with him! All you had to do was burp on his track and the beat would have done the rest. That’s why it’s ok to make beats for Wack muthafuckas, lmao!! You a straight up Herb ass bitch, stylin on some bitch e-mail!! I’ll probably punch you in your fuckin face before I battle you! You disappearing act ass fag! Your old dumb ass still waiting for rap to feed you, lmao!! I’ll have to write your rhymes for you to battle me, lmao!!! You have no fire and like I said, I’ll probably punch you in your gay ass mouth before I battle you!!

" New Shit On Deck "

Robbie from " Unkut.Com " has one of the best web sites on the net..

PERIOD....Instead following cornball trends, he sticks to his guns and hits us off with nothing but that uncut raw...

I have been following his site for the last past four years...Interviews, reviews, quality write-ups, the kid is definitely doing his thing over there troop...And to celebrate 6 years of terrorizing the blog world, he decided to release a Ironlak sponsored mixtape this Friday....

Here is the first leak..

Capone & Lord Nez " Gangsta, Gangsta " Produced by Sid Roams....

DOWNLOAD

" West Coast Classics "

" I used to sell mixtapes, but now I'm an M.C.eeeeeeeeeee / I rock the rhymes and beats, I used to slang those tapes ".......

The Nonce-" Mixtapes " Wild West Records...

Wow, that record used to get a lot of burn on my decks....So did "J To The I", "Keep It On", "Things Fall Apart", "On The Road",
"Bus Stops", and almost everything else the " Nonce " put out...(The Advanced State Of Regression, Advanced Regression & The Right State Of Mind)

After the mysterious death of "Yusef Afloat", I often wondered if "Nouka Basetype / Sach Hill Pages" would carry the torch musically for his fallen comrade...

I didn't hear anything for a couple years than out of nowhere he dropped " Seven Days To Engineer ", he followed that up in 2002 with " Suckaz Hate Me "....In 2005 his third solo album was released, " Sach 5th Ave "....

All decent albums, I recommend adding them to your collection if you don't have them already....I stumbled upon " Sach's " My Space page recently just to see what he was up to in 2010 ( No I don't have a MySpace account, Face Book account, or a Twitter account, the only account I have is a bank account that barely has any money in it due to my record buying tantrums ) ...

Just as I suspected: Lo-Fi funky beats, crazy rhyme patterns, and that "Nonce" sound that I miss very much these days...

Salute to you "Sach" for keeping the vibes alive....

TAKE A LISTEN..

" D.J. Day Rocks The Breaks "

The first time I heard of D.J. Day is when this lady, ( Who shall remain nameless ) slid me one of his instrumental mixes back in 1998...I was quite surprised at what I heard...Heavy drums, melodic sequences, healthy doses of scratching, and plenty change-ups to keep things interesting...

It's 2010 now and Day has made a nice lane for himself : touring the world with " Exile ", running his own blog (Like A Throttle) , and dishing out funky edits and remixes every now and then..

Back in 2007 he put out this mix ( Credit Is Due ), if you missed it the first go-round here is another chance to get properly blessed..DO NOT SLEEP....This is that official heat...(That rhymed by the way HAHA)

Props to DSFL..

" Gangster Shit "

STREETS OF NEW YORK - Directed by Al Profit

Stories From The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Harlem

New York City is the head of the American social body. From Gotham the signals flow; what is important, what is cool, how to live. In the late 1960's, New York embraced crime and drug addiction and abandoned its social spaces to crime and criminals; America did the same. The South Bronx burned, Harlem overdosed, and Brooklyn was ruled by the knives and bicycle chains of feral gangs. Then it got worse. The Mafia poured tons of China White onto the street and 13 year old warlords peddled vials of cocaine to passing cars.

The media, and our own memories, present us only with a photo album of these times; an incident here, and incident there; the '77 Blackout, Bernie Goetz, crack heads, John Gotti. "Streets of New York" brings the fragments of New York's social unraveling circa 1970-1990 into a contiguous form, so that we may inspect it for clues about how we may more precisely control the social order in all of our cities. The documentary subtly explores issues of race, and the media prism that separates criminal events into levels of importance by geography and social standing of criminals and victims.

A treasure of archival television footage was unearthed to catalogue such phenomena as the Devil's Rebels gang terrorizing Bushwick Brooklyn in 1976, police involvement in Harlem's heroin trade, crack users getting high on camera, the worst mass murder in recent New York history, and the implementation of Rudy Giuliani's Compstat program in the War on Crime. Eleven New Yorkers talk about their own experiences from the streets to Riker's Island. We follow NoNo, a former gang member from 70's era Sunset Park, Brooklyn, from being stabbed in a pizzeria at age 11 to crossing paths with the Son of Sam in prison; noted rapper Thirstin Howl III (former partner of Eminem) from his days robbing people for their coats in Times Square to starring on MTV's "Lyricist Lounge" television show in the late 90's; and the best friend of the infamous "Pistol" Pete Rollack tells us how the Soundview section of the Bronx still has the cloud of death and prison hanging over it to this day.
